Romantic disco vibes at Southlands Barn

Hannah and Mark dreamed of a romantic, sparkly wedding at Southlands Barn, a beautiful 17th century barn overlooking the South Downs National park. We used soft blue, pink, peach and white blooms to add lots of colour throughout the venue, and created a disco paradise by incorporating dozens of twinkly mirror balls.

The showstopper for this wedding was the stunning wooden moon ceremony backdrop, hired from The Little Wedding Warehouse. We brought this to life with meadow boxes of climbing foliage and tall delphiniums, balanced with potted blue hydrangeas that were gifted to guests at the end of the night.

I worked with Carrie from Caritas Cake Design to create a pretty cake meadow around the most perfectly iced ivory cake, and decorated with an elegant silk ribbon bow.

Hannah and her bridesmaids’ bouquets were filled with scented ruffly stocks, pink and peach dahlias, blue delphiniums, peach roses and the most stunning locally grown zinnias, finished off with denim blue silk ribbons. There were buttonholes for the boys, and special pocket flowers for Mark.
